Windsor-Essex Technology Founder Receives Dual National Recognition

Jordan Goure named to The Peak's Emerging Leaders in AI list and NEXT Founders 2026 cohort

Windsor, ON — June 4th, 2026 — Jordan Goure, CEO and Co-Founder of Windsor-Essex-based technology company Picsume, has recently received two significant national recognitions, earning a place on The Peak's Emerging Leaders list in the Artificial Intelligence category and being selected for NEXT Founders 2026, one of Canada's exclusive premier programs for high-growth entrepreneurs.

The Peak Emerging Leaders program recognizes Canadians under 40 who are making a meaningful impact in their industries through leadership, innovation, and influence. Goure was 1 of only 12 leaders selected, who are helping shape the future of the AI sector and its application across Canadian industry.

In addition to the Emerging Leaders recognition, Goure has also been selected for NEXT Founders 2026, a highly competitive national program operated by NEXT Canada. The program supports founders building high-growth ventures through mentorship, education, and access to Canada's leading entrepreneurial and investment networks. NEXT Canada alumni have gone on to build and scale some of the country's most successful technology companies.

Receiving both recognitions in the same year places Goure among an elite group of Canadian innovators being recognized for both leadership and entrepreneurial acumen.

"These recognitions are an incredible honour and a reflection of not only the tireless work our team is doing but also that people are taking notice across our country," said Goure. "We're passionate about building technology that solves real-world challenges while demonstrating that nationally recognized companies can be built right here in Windsor-Essex."

The announcement also highlights the continued growth of the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent innovation ecosystem, as more technology companies from the region gain recognition on the national stage.

"Jordan's recognition by two of Canada's leading innovation programs speaks to both his entrepreneurial vision and the impact Picsume is making in the technology sector," says Yvonne Pilon, President & CEO of WEtech Alliance. "It is also a reflection of the exceptional founders and innovators who call Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent home. These achievements demonstrate that world-class innovation and leadership in artificial intelligence are being developed right here in our region. Stories like Jordan's inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and help elevate the profile of our innovation ecosystem."

Goure co-founded and serves as the CEO of Picsume, an award winning workforce technology company headquartered in Windsor-Essex.
